Babhu Chabi, Bahu Rong is a compliation of short stories, poems and thought provoking articles written in Assamese language. Many of these were previously published in various Assamese magazines and newspapers. As the title reflects, through these writings the author depicts various aspects of life and soiety and effects of fast changes with time. Many of these focus on womens' inequality. A subsection is devoted to Assam and the Assamese language and danger posed to it by globalization, unlawful migration, and politics of the land.
